SDI record trigger with Hyperdeck Studio & Sony PXW-Z150

I have a Sony PXW-Z150 camera connected via SDI to a Hyperdeck Studio Mini. I would like the Hyperdeck to record when I press the record button on the camera. I have set the camera to output the record trigger on SDI, and configured the Hyperdeck to 'SDI Start/Stop' record trigger, but have had no luck. The hyperdeck is seeing the camera's timecode. Are there some specific settings I need to set up on the camera to get this to work?

Forgot to mention:
Both the camera and the Hyperdeck have the latest firmware. I have set the Hyperdeck 'remote' to 'On'. I can use the Timecode trigger to start recording, but the Start/Stop still doesn't work.
I did get Start/Stop to work over HDMI when connected to an Atmos Ninja device.

Per Blackmagic support, the SDI start/stop trigger is not supported for Sony cameras.
