Decklink Studio 4K no longer appears in hardware list

PostSun Oct 01, 2017 5:42 am

I have a Decklink Studio 4K card in a mid 2010 Mac Pro. Last night a prompt popped up that the card needed to be updated. I attempted this twice, and received a message that it failed. Now the card no longer shows up. Was this some sort of firmware update that automatically popped up? I tried downloading the latest Video Desktop software and drivers and the card still does not show up. I tried downgrading and I moved the card to a Windows machine and it doesn't show up on Hardware Manager there either. Has anyone else had this problem?

BMD Customer Support forced flashed a new firmware to the card and returned it. Yay!
