Design Decklink Mini Monitor as an additional display out?

Hi guys. What I am trying to do is get an SDI out on a computer that works like a normal monitor out.

I want to be able to say have a website play a video, make that video fullscreen, and have that go out on SDI. Basically I want something that functions like a normal display, but I want a SDI connection, not a HDMI or DP connection.

Is the Blackmagic Design Decklink Mini Monitor capable of doing that, or is it only a video output with certain parts of supported applications?

If it can't do that (or if there is a better way of doing that) do you have any suggestions??

No, it's not usable as a desktop monitor. You can connect a GPU output to a scaler or converter to get SDI output of the desktop.

Put a BMD Micro Converter behind your HDMI output of PC and you will have SDI.

I also have 1 Computer with a special videocard from YuanTech that has a Nvidea Core and 4 SDI outputs.. Works like a charme But i can't seem to find the card on their website now..

Can you provide more detail on that graphics card, Daniel? Could be useful for me, I think.

I tryed to find it on their website today Jack. Could not find it anymore. While i'm very satisfied with that card as it gives me 4 SDI output channels whithout delay.. I needed that card because my outputs goes dirrectly into my sdi matrix and gets distributed into my OBV.

I will try to dig up more info when i'm at the OBV again.
