Getting connected with UltraStudio Mini Recorder

I've been trying to get my Sony a7ii to connect with my Macbook Pro (mid-2013) for the past several days via the UltraStudio Mini Recorder. No joy!

Will the Recorder transfer the Live View from the Sony, or does it need to be in record mode.

Looking to use this as a gateway for Zoom.us web meetings.

Your sony A7 will output 1080P50 which is not supported by your ultrastudio mini recorder. It only goes up to 1080i50. ;)

Try to find output settings for the HDMI port.
Not the resolution of recording as this has nothing to do with that!
