Hi BM forum team,

I am looking to Genlock 10 atomos recorders and I am not sure about how to go about it.

The way I'm thinking is is using the Blackmagic Mini Converter Sync Generator which has 6 Outputs and splitting the signals.

Has anyone tried this and does it work?

Are there any other recommendations for creating a 10 output tri - level signal?

Thanks guys,
R

Sorry I should have mentioned I will be Genlocking the recorders, not the cameras.

You need to use a video distribution box to,add more outputs. Using a passive splitter does not work very well.
Cheers.

Genlocking a recorder is by and large pointless. The reason for genlock on recorders is for playback sync. The recorder can only record what the camera or switcher is putting out. You need to lock the cameras not the recorders.

Good Luck
