GH3 & Hyperdeck shuttle 2 1080p problem

PostSat Apr 06, 2013 2:11 pm

Hello!

I'm trying to record a progressive image via the HDMI out of the Panasonic GH3. The Hyperdeck only sees the interlaced signal. The Hyperdeck doesn't see the HDMI progressive output.

frame rate in the camera is set at 1080p/25p.

720p and 1080i works correctly.

Anyone know why the deck won't see the 1080p image?

Thanks in advance!

hyperdeck shuttle? or studio? When i hook my gh3 to shuttle via hdmi, the signal light is off (1080p). In 1080i works perfectly.

Thanks for that info, xxlwd. Still I'm unclear. Can you determine whether it's an Interlaced or Progressive signal?

I have a problem similar to Davidvg. I can't get the hyperdeck 2 to a record progressive signal via hdmi.
I have a Canon HF G10. It records and outputs 1080p but the hyperdeck doesn't seem to want to record 1080p; the hyperdeck records 1080i instead.

Can someone please explain why?
