We are currently having issues with the Optical Out/In on a Terranex AV unit, we are able to use the output function (SDI Source > Terranex > Fibre > Theatrixx XVV-FIBER2SDI-TRUE1 > SDI Monitor) however, when trying to use it as an input (SDI Source > Theatrixx XVV-SDI2FIBER-TRUE1 > Fibre > Terranex > SDI Monitor) we are unable to get the Terranex unit to receive our source and when you press the OPT button nothing happens.
To troubleshoot I put the SDI source directly into our monitor and also converted it to fibre and back to SDI (SDI Source > Theatrixx XVV-SDI2FIBER-TRUE1 > Fibre > Theatrixx XVV-FIBER2SDI-TRUE1 > SDI Monitor) and both worked.
I downloaded the Blackmagic Terranex Setup app but when connecting to the unit it still doesn’t allow me to select optical as an input although I can send colour bars to the monitor.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can resolve this issue?
