Record HTC Vive output

I'm looking for a way to record the stream from our HTC vive whilst clients are using the headset.

I was thinking of using the Hyperdeck Studio mini to achieve this.

Does anyone have any experience with this, or any suggestions for alternative workflows?

You can't directly intercept the video feed from the headset, since it is an unusual format. I recommend using the OpenVR input plugin for OBS. Get that set up, then connect the HyperDeck to the PC as an external monitor, and use the Fullscreen Projector function of OBS to send that signal to the deck for recording.
