Motherboard recommendations for Decklink Mini Recorder 4K

PostThu Dec 14, 2017 10:39 am

Hi,

I'm looking for a low-cost (i.e. <= 200 EUR) motherboard recommendation.
I want to use a Decklink Mini Recorder 4K Card.

My use case is the following:
I only want to capture a 1080p output signal from a pc once a second, capture the screenshot and store it. So I do not need a strong cpu nor special harddiscs.

I plan to use the BMD SDK on Windows 10.

Can anybody recommend a motherboard and cpu? Perhaps successfully using a Decklink Mini Rekorder (4K)?

Thanks a lot.

If more detailed information is needed, please tell me.

I'm considering one of the following motherboards:

MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon (160 EUR)
MSI Z370-A Pro (110 EUR)
ASRock AB350M Pro4 (70 EUR)

Best regards,
Seidel

I don't think I've ever had one of those cards not work in something I put it in. Have only tried Z370 chipset with the Asus Prime Z370-A using i7-8700k, which is working fine.
Ryzen 5800X3D
32GB DDR4-3600
RTX 3090
DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G
Resolve Studio 17.4.1
Windows 11 Pro 21H2
