Using Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt solely as input device

PostMon Jan 22, 2018 3:22 am

Good evening everyone.

I'll get right to the point, since this is kind of an odd question.

My old laptop had an HDMI input which let me play my video game consoles through my laptop's screen rather than lugging around a TV or computer monitor when I travel. My new laptop doesn't have this functionality, and through all the search I've done I can only see using a capture device as a possible solution. I realize that this would not be using the device to its full potential.

Here are the questions I have:

A. I have seen reviews that claim there is zero lag between the source and preview in the software. Is this true?
B. Does the preview window in the software go full screen?
C. Is this idea even feasible or worth it?

Any input is much appreciated.
