Intensity Shuttle Setup Help?
Posted: Sat Feb 03, 2018 3:09 amI'm trying to use some old gear to capture some old footage. I have a Sony J-h1 HDCAM deck with component outputs into an Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0. This is then plugged into a USB 3.0 pci card in my Mac Pro Tower 5,1 running OS 10.12.2.
In Media Express (version 3.5.4), I see no footage even when I "play" the tape. The deck works as I can export to a monitor and see the footage playing. When I choose Desktop Video Setup in System Preferences, I just get a screen that says "No Desktop Video Device Detected."
Only tutorials say I should see a dialogue box that would enable me to set the input settings of the shuttle, but I don't see that anywhere. Any thoughts what the hitch might be?
