Converters Setup won't recognise the Converter

PostMon Mar 19, 2018 10:20 am

Hi there,
I have purchased the 'Mini Converter HDMI to SDI 6G'
I have downloaded the Converters installer (7.1.1) for Windows.
Upon installing I open up the Converters Setup software however it says 'No Converter Found' and 'Check that the converter is connected propertly. The Converter is being fed by HDMI cable straight out of my computer.
Please help.
Kind Regards

Does the resolution and frame rate on the computer output match the supported formats mentioned on the tech spec page?

Adam, For connection by the Converters Setup software you need to attach a USB cable between the computer and the converter. This has nothing to do with the HDMI connector. ;)

To output HDMI video to the converter to SDI you need to connect a HDMI lead to the computer. And setup a new monitor in Windows to extend your desktop to this monitor. Now the converter should lock to the HDMI signal and output SDI. ;)
