I've got a workstation and a powerful HP Omen laptop. Both have USB 3 and 3.1, but no USB-C or Thunderbolt.
In my workstation I have a Decklink, and that's fine. But sooner or later I might have to think about swapping it for something that can do 4K as well.
The laptop however would suffice if it could output HD, but at the moment I don't see any USB3 devices (except the consumer grade bulky Intensity). I'd love to have an UltraStudio Mini for at least output - but through USB!
Reasons I'd like one: Davinci Resolve on the go, and for calibrating monitors on the go.
I can't be the only one who's looking for such?
