Can't Figure Settings To Receive Video Input

I'm set up so the video from my receiver (HDMI) is converted to COMPONENT and carried to the Component Inputs of my Intensity Shuttle for Thunderbolt. The device is recognized by the Desktop Video Setup and the Media Player presents a blue screen with the following Project Video Format settings:

525p23.98 NTSC
525p59.94 NTSC
525i59.94 NTSC
625i50 PAL

That's it. (The PAL instance is odd!) When the blue screen is present, the audio is picked up, otherwise not.
I'd like to get beyond the blue screen and see an image. I can redirect the Component over to a monitor and see the image clear as a bell.

I'm using macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.4 Beta

Oh, I'm stuck with "Capture from a YUV source." "Capture from an RGB source" is unselectable.
