Hi,
i've got a Sony 4k camcorder with HDMI out, a Blackmagic Web Presenter capture card and a Win7 (for now) computer.
My idea was to use the Web Presenter to capture video directly to disk, instead of moving a memory card back and forth between camcorder and computer. The aim is to get some sort of HD file to the computer, for further editing and publishing to the web. Short clips of 60 seconds.
What is my best software solution to do this? I tried getting the blackmagic media express but it just doesnt want to discover the USB capture card, although its visible as a webcam in for instance google hangouts.
Upon talking to BM phone support, this is two different things, and the Web Presenter card just isnt made for use with Media Express.
So is there a software that can do this for me? Preferably i would need to set the frame rate too, as i'm guessing i want to work in 25 fps.
