New owner/user BMMini 4.6k PL. Firmware updates?

Hello to all.

I am a new-ish owner/user of a BM mini 4.6k.PL.
I am a little inexperienced technically.
My questions are:
1.How do update my cameras firmware / software?
2. The camera hasn't been updated since it's purchase in August 2017. Should I go directly to the latest update available?

Download and install the latest Blackmagic Camera Setup.. (It can be found in the support section on the website.)
Power the camera up and connect it to the computer by USB.

Let the software update the camera.

I'm not sure but i do think you have the latest fw version already.. As most updates are only for the newer models.. But if the software says you are up to date (V4.7 or so) then it is oke.. Current FW version is 5.0.1 but these only update features for the newer model cameras.
