Frame dropping since Desktop Video 10.9.10

PostThu Apr 26, 2018 8:40 pm

I have two Mac on High Sierra, one with a Teranex 2D, the other with a Ultrastudio Express, external thunderbolt hard drive on both.

I tried DV 10.9.10, 10.9.11 and 10.9.12, and always the same problem, Video Express is dropping frames while capturing after 20-40 secondes in ProRes 422 1080i60 or in any HD format, external or internal drive.

SD works fine or I can go HD ProRes Proxy and it works. I do not have that problem with DV 10.9.7 ! Drives are passing speed test for ProRes 422 HQ 1080i60. Any idea ?

I'm still having the same issue with Blackmagic Desktop Video 10.11.2, Media Express is dropping frame if I try to capture in hd, even 720p for example. Back to 10.9.7....

If anyone can help with this problem. Thanks.

You used the BMD un install util to remove the old Desktop Video Setup util. ?
Otherwise you might contact BMD by email for this odd problem, they give exellent service i experienced.
