Hi,

I am attempting to capture the output from a macbook pro on a bmd decklink mini recorder in obs with no luck.

Please can someone assist.

the PC specs are as follows:
i7 2600
8Gb RAM
WIN 10 Pro
OBS 21.10 64 bit

the macbook is 13 inch mid 2009
core 2 duo
6Gb RAM
Geforce 9400M

What resolution is the Mac set to? This the list of the supported resolutions for the Mini Recorder. Unless you've changed it the chances are that the Mac is outputting 1080p50/60 which is not supported.

720p50, 720p59.94, 720p60
1080p23.98, 1080p24, 1080p25, 1080p29.97, 1080p30, 1080PsF23.98, 1080PsF24, 1080PsF25, 1080PsF29.97, 1080PsF30
1080i50, 1080i59.94, 1080i60

The Macbook is outputting 720p60, i also tried 720p50 with no luck.

I am running mini displayport to HDMi converter from the Macbook, could this be the problem?
