external monitor with BM video assist 4K

wondering how to plug-in an external monitor to the Blackmagic Design Video assist 4K.

You have two choices, first the SDI out to a SDI Monitor, next is HDMI to a Monitor/TV. Both will exhibit a slight delay compared to the VA screen, but less than one frame, as output signal is “post video processing”. The output should be the same resolution as the input.
