Hello all,
I have a couple of Hyperdeck Mini's and a Hyperdeck Studio 12. Regardless of signs, post its, clear comm reminders... I still have problems with people forgetting to hit the record button. Is there a "start recording at 7:36 am" function on these recorders? I know there is a time code detect record but I'm not sure that will work in my situation. I fire up the equipment nearly 3 hours before start time. I don't want to record 3 hours of nothing unless I have too. I have already considered a shock collar.

Not out of the box. I'm guessing you could accomplish this with Ian Morrish's powershell libraries.

You can define a Windows Sheduled task to do this if the HyperDeck is connected to the network. Will show command that works shortly.

Not better if I'm not there.
This is also better in that it sets the file name of each recording to include Source + Date/Time.
