Issues with Intensity Shuttle

Hello,
We are using the BM Intensity Shuttle to take a live feed from a camera to stream on Facebook. The setup will work for about three months, then the shuttle stops working.

Hardware setup:
The camera is a Sony Handycam with an HDMI output. The signal goes to a HDMI-CAT 6 converter (transmitter), through about 50 ft of CAT 6 cable to the CAT 6-HDMI receiver. The HDMI is then routed to the HDMI input on the shuttle. The USB 3.0 output goes into the computer.

Software setup:
We are using the OBS software to stream the signal to Facebook and to record to the hard drive. The OBS software and Windows 10 are both kept up-to-date. Only video signal is processed through the shuttle.

This setup works fine for our purposes and is used 3 times per week.

The problem:
The setup will work for about three months, then the shuttle stops working.

We purchased the first shuttle around December 2017. This unit worked fine until March of 2018 and then would only show a black screen.

The second unit was purchased in April of 2018 and worked great until about a week ago, when it again went to a black screen.

Both times, the image from the camera could be viewed on the monitor by moving the HDMI cable from the shuttle HDMI input to the monitor input. This tells me the camera, signal converters, and hardware are working.

The computer and camera are surge protected. The data line between the camera and shuttle is completely isolated. The network line will be surge protected in the near future. None of the other items connected to the internet have had any issues, so I don't think we are getting spikes in the line.

I am interested in continuing to use BM products. However, the shuttle hasn't proven to be very reliable in this setup. Can you make any recommendations to improve our setup? If there is a better unit to use, please send a recommendation.

Does the Intensity Shuttle get hot ? try to place it in a cool spot, or place a fan near it to cool it.
also the Shuttle needs a stable/clean signal, maybe there are changes in this after an amount of time, in the other equipment, you can check this by connecting an other source on the Shuttle.
