BMD - Win7 MsiInstaller Event Error 1722 during Installation

PostTue Jul 17, 2018 11:15 pm

I have an BMD Intensity Pro 4K PCI card, used for Avid Symphony System running on HP xw8600 Workstation... Everything was working great until the upgrade from BM Desktop Video 10.10 to version 10.11.

Now I am getting the following error when attempting to install BM Desktop Video 10.11.

"Blackmagic Design Desktop Video Setup Wizard ended prematurely... because of an error"

and now it won't allow me to install even earlier version of the BMD drivers..

Thank you for your help in advance for any help you might offer

Does anyone from BMD software development moderating this forum?

You all might want to check out this thread on Avid.com forum. Many people have been having issues with both 10.11 and 10.11.1.

Looks like BMD has a REAL problem with your installer and new driver...

I called BMD tech support and they were USELESS!

PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ASAP!
