ATEM 2 - device disconnected - Code 10

I'm trying to connect a ATEM 2 via USB 3.0 to a workstation to record the signal in Media Express. My problem is that the ATEM mixer is not recognized by the PC in the Device Manager properly. Code 10 This means, however, that the error is on the ATEM 2 not at my workstation.
Can anyone help me or do I have something set to output a signal to USB 3.0. Thx

I don't believe the atem 2 outputs video via USB. Only the TVS.

Sorry looks like I was mistaken, website says that it does.

USB 3 has been very problematic with both Blackmagic and other vendors (which is why all the newly released stuff is Thunderbolt instead). There are known problems with USB3 and Windows 8, as well as compatibility problems with USB3 chipsets that are NOT NEC/Renesas.

There was also an uncofirmed report about someone using a USB3 hub inline (something about insufficient voltage to the device) that got it working for him, but I don't know any more details than that. You'd have to search the forums.
