So i walked into a Apple Store/Center today, asking for a adapter cable and i got confused,
I have a "old" Macbook Pro early 2015, which has a Thunderbolt 2 interface/connection, and I want to connect,
(a still to be purchased) USB-C external SSD drive (540Mb/s)
The only adapter that came near, was a USB C plug (male) that has a Thunderbolt boxed-jack (female) on the other side, and they told me i could also use it with a male to male Thunderbolt short cable into that, and use the adapter "in reverse" .....to me this sounded too simple to be true, my question, can it be done this way ?
thus > can i connect a external USB-C SSD "storage device" this way onto my Thunderbolt 2 Macbook Pro ?
