A good potential upgrade path as a film maker

Hi everyone. I am majorly a photographer and getting in video. Although I've been making videos for quite long, so I have some decent knowledge of video in production and post, I am not very acquainted in professional video production space. Let me also add that until now, all my video is dSLR based. Nikon D810 majorly.
Now I could upgrade my dSLR to a better one (maybe canon / Panasonic / Sony), but past few days ive been testing their footages extensively and concluded that they have their limitations, and their advantages over the setup i have right now is not very significant. Seems like ill be wasting money on just another tad bit better system. I would compare it to upgrading from a crop to full frame in photography world.
The route that seems more sensible to me is going forward with the pocket cinema 4k and URSA in future. and ofcourse its lenses. Cuz the footage coming out of these cameras are just next level. It almost seems like upgrading from a crop sensor to medium format in photography world. Guide me if i am being wrong here please.
Now my limitations are only budget wise. There is a certain amount that i can spend in 6 months. and hence i can buy equipment every 6 months. and the amount i can spend varies, but mostly i can get one piece of equipment sorted. Whether its a computer upgrade, or a camera upgrade or quality lenses. a little here and there.
Right now my computer setup is as follows
Processor - i7 8700
RAM - 16GB
Windows 10 on SSD
Extra 2 HDD disks
on Board graphics (i obviously have to upgrade this. Any graphics card you might suggest here as well?)
Now i am confused a lot. I can afford to buy Cinema pocket 4k and a decent lens to pair. But i am confused whether my computer can handle that. (i am trying resolve past few days and its crashing on me quite a lot. Have other thread running in this forum)
if it cant handle, Maybe there is a tiny upgrade that i can do along with the camera and lens so that my computer can handle it for now, and later on I can sort out the computer.
I am really confused which route to go or a good path to upgrade towards a quality production. I am sure many of you must have been through this phase and must know what to do and what not to do.
I am of that category who would wait a little and get quality products than rushing in and getting mediocre products.
Your help would greatly be appreciated.
A little note that renting is not an option in my area as we dont get Blackmagic products for rent here.
Thank you so much!
