Hi, I have my new Intensity Shuttle Usb device on my MacBook air but it don't works (great!).
I have installed correctly the software (several times), changed the cable, but nothing to do...
Does not works!
What can I do? Should I have to trash it?
Can someone help me? Thanks

Can you test the device on a different computer to confirm the communication between it and the computer sits with the device?

You've also confirmed that the MacBook Pro does have USB 3.0 ports that work as intended correct? If you have an actual desktop computer to confirm with as well, that would be ideal. If those tests are still not seen and you've tried multiple USB 3.0 cables, you can contact us via email for additional information on troubleshooting steps and potentially sending the unit in for testing.

I have exactly the same problem with my shuttle. Using 10.11.4 software. It works perfectly on my mac pro 2010 with a usb3 card. But on my 2013 macbook air running mojave I get no device detected?

Kind regards

Testing on a MacPro and an iMac both running on OSX Mojave, there was not problem with the device being detected on either system. The MacBook Air may detect the device in the system report but may not have sufficient power to that port or possibly resources to use the Shuttle.

Hi Tony

I find it unlikely that the macbook air does not deliver up enough power as the system information must have fired up the device to report back the name and version number of the shuttle.
