Recording in MP4 format on hyperdeck mini

Hi all,

I have recorded some stuff using the h264 codec in the HyperDeck mini.
I bought these recorders because of this option, material is immediately playable or uploadable without having to run it through final cut or something like that.
I work at a school so people are not very technical here
However if our students upload the footage to YouTube the sound doesn’t work! There is only some static noise!?
What is going wrong here? Does anyone know?

Known issue with the H264 on the hyperdeck mini's. There are several topics in the forum discussing the issue and how to "solve" it for the time being by re-encoding it..

BMD does know about the issue and is working on it to produce an update to get this fixed. When this update will be released is not know.
