Transfer files from Hyperdeck over network

PostFri Dec 07, 2018 1:36 am

Hi all,

Is it possible to send files recorded on the hyperdeck to another machine using the on-board ethernet connection? If so, any specifics/direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The only HyperDeck that offers FTP is the HyperDeck Studio Mini. You can see which FTP clients will work with that unit on the tech spec page of the product.

What speed is the Ethernet on the Studio Mini? 10/100/1gig?

Thanks

Old question but did anyone figure this out? The specs page doesn’t say what the speed is. I’m assuming since it’s FTP you could not only upload, but also download files, and if the speed is fast enough, avoid shuffling SD cards but instead just transfer files from a rack of these to a computer over FTP.

Anyone done that?

ha! Good to know. Must be just 10/100 then. And why they only talk about it for adding media like graphics. Ok thanks!
