Display Port with UltraStudio Mini Recorder

I am wondering if there is anyway to utilize a Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Recorder on a mid-2015 iMac with mini display port connections only (no Thunderbolt)? Any way to convert successfully from Thunderbolt to MiniDP out of the Mini Recorder?
