Unknown Blackmagic error message

I am trying to update my BMD Desktop Video on a PC (win 7) and I get the following error...

Image

There IS NO 'Blackmagic Camera's' installed on my system!
There is "Blackmagic Camera Utility" but it doesn't call it 'Blackmagic Camera's.

How can I uninstall something that doesn't exist?

Anyone know a workaround or a registry hack?

Baz

Have you tried removing the Camera utility to see if that is the issue? It does appear to be an older release of software.

Yes I tried to remove "Blackmagic Camera Utility". It goes thru all the motions and finishes but it still exists! I tried a number of times and it just won't go away.

I remember seeing a post a while ago regarding this issue but I can not find it.
From memory something had to be deleted in the registry.

If I remember correctly, I think ccCleaner might be of help to remove any potential lingerings of software.
