Mini USB to RCA video cable

PostWed Apr 03, 2019 10:03 pm

I have a FLIR Scout III 320 thermal imaging scope. The scope comes with a Mini usb to RCA cable for recording video off the scope.
Will the Blackmagic Video Assist be able to record the video from the scope ?

From the Manual::
To obtain analog video out, insert the adapter cable into the USB connector. The monocular will detect the adapter cable and provide the video stream. Use an RCA cable to connect to a monitor or a video recorder.

So analog video.. And the BMD recorders are all Digital SDI. ;) So no it wont. You need to find an older monitor with composite video inputs.

For example the BON D7 monitor has CVBS inputs and also can record to card or USB stick. This might be an option..
