Just hooked up my Ultra Studio Mini and it works great over Thunderbolt on my 2017 iMac running Mojave.
But for some reason installing the Black Magic software package makes my external tv display not recognized by the Mac.
The display is an older Vizio TV set connected via an HDMI cable in this fashion:
iMac> OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock Mini Display Port >HDMI adapter >quality HDMI cable >TV input.
This arrangement was very dependable until installing the Black Magic package. Now it is not seen by the Mac.
And the TV reappears in my Displays panel if I uninstall the black magic software package and reboot the Mac.
Any ideas would be appreciated? Would a different type of external display be more dependable? My only open port is the Mini Display port.
