UltraStudio Mini Recorder Not Recognized

Hello,

New to using the USMR and can't get my Mac to recognize the device. I have installed Deskstop Stuido 11.1 and I am running Mac OS 10.14.4.

When I launch deskstop video setup is says no devices found.

Have tried two different thunderbolt cables (not 3.0).

Can feel some heat on the box so power is going to it.

Any suggestions or is this a dead on arrival box?

Need to get this going for a 75th Anniversary of the liberation of Italy by a Canadian regiment so some of the remaining vets in Canada can see the dedication of some memorial.

I don't have the Mini Recorder but I do have the Mini Monitor. I plugged it in, installed Desktop Video, ran the setup and it was was recognized right away. Maybe it is DOA.

Read the Manual! There is a note on how to enable the BMD devices on Mac under Sierra and higher.
Something with security issues inside the MAC.
