Old Laptop doesn't have the GPUs that is needed

Hi, thanks in advance for the help.

I d/l DaVinci 16 but it won't work with my old laptop's GPU and my instructor has advised to d/l earlier DaVinci 12.5 but can't find it.

Can someone pls send me a link of DaVinci 12.5. Everytime I think that I've found the link; it takes me back to DaVinci 16.

k so same thing is happening. I'm able to access, but I'm getting this kind of message:

No OpenCL Acceleration Hardware Detected!
Please quit Resolve and install a OpenCL accelerated GPU card or update your OpenCL software driver to the latest version before continuing to use Resolve!

Does this mean I need to go with an earlier version yet again?

It might help if you describe in detail the OS version, the CPU, GPU, system ram etc.

gpu: gpuenergydrv GPU Energy Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\gpuenergydrv.sys

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB

op system is too old. I tried from 12.5 all the way down too 10 and found out that my operating system is too old as well as graphics card.

it's disappointing really because I've been able to rent Adobe Premiere Pro and not had a problem. Was looking forward to using DaVinci Resolve for free. Would have been great!
