Intensity shuttle usb 3.0 - No desktop video device detected

Hello.
I bought the BM Intensity Shuttle a few weeks ago and I've tried a lot to make it work.
When I connect it it simply says: No Desktop Video device detected. I tried to read other threads about this and check the Security and Privacy window under System Preferences. Nothing there.
I upgraded to Mojave 10.14.4 (since I hadn't upgraded my OS since I bought the laptop in 2014).
I Installed the Desktop Video utility that came with the hardware (10.11.4) Since that didn't work I tried also to install the newest version from BM homepage. Nothing.
Blackmagic Media Express also says: no device.

Any ideas?

Problem Solved:
I went and bought another USB 3.0 A - B cable and than it worked as it was supposed to. So the cable that came with it was faulty
