H.264 software update backward compatibility with Media Exp

PostFri Jun 14, 2019 3:44 pm

Hi,

I would like to update my H.264 pro recorder to the latest software so it works with the latest version of Black Magic Media Express. If I do this, will it still work with Black Magic Media Express 3.3.1 which I'm running on an older macbook pro?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I would like to know this as well.

Hopefully we get an answer. I installed 3.6 and I get no preview, no audio levels, no timecode changes while recording but the end file is still saved fine.

Specifically for this device, there has not been an update to this product in some time. That said, you should be able to use this with even the most current version of Desktop Video and change settings within the Media Express application.
