BMPCC upscaled to 4k??

Is it better to upscale BMPCC for a better picture on you tube?

If so, How does one go about upscaling to 4k in Davinci Resolve??

There's no good reason to upscale it for delivery to youtube; hundreds if not thousands of people have been posting 1080p footage from the original BMPCC since 2013.

You can upscale using the "super scale" tool in Davinci Resolve but that's an extremely GPU-intensive operation and your computer had better be up for it. See page 228 of the Resolve 15 manual. Super scale has been improved in Resolve 16. But I still don't see any good reason to do it; my understanding is that it's mainly useful if the rest of your timeline is in 4K and you want to upscale some lower-resolution footage for a more consistent look, or if you want to zoom in on some 1080p footage without making it look grainy.

YouTube gives enough bandwidth to 4K videos that, if you do the math, the resultings bits per pixel is higher, resulting in a greater visual fidelity of the image. Some people advocate upscaling HD content to 4K for that reason, if it's suffering from the YT compression.

This is exactly what I do. I shoot a lot from moving trains and trackside foliage tends to become blocky after YTs re-encode. The higher bandwidth they allow for 4k minimises this. All I do is change the Timeline resolution to 3840 x 2160, check it matches in the Deliver page, increase my bitrate to a least double the original footage, and render.
