Where you choose to edit copies of a track together will not always be just cutting the end of one and the beginning of the next. You have to get the beat right, matching instrumentation at the edit point, and making sure it works musically. If it won't hard cut try a cross fade from one to the other. Just don't expect to join five copies of the track together to get one five minute piece. You may need to use more to add a variety of edits to give you the finished track.
