corrrect DIP switches for 720p on UpDownCross?

I am not clear on what the correct dip switch configuration needs to be on my Blackmagic Design Mini Converter UpDownCross HD in order to go from an Alexa Mini SDI in to a HDMI 720p out?

I am taking SDI from a BNC directly out of an Alexa Mini 4k 1080 24fps and need to feed a monitor that only accepts 720p.

Sorry, I looked through the manual, but I am still confused.

Thanks very much,

Henry

As the converter does only convert to Broadcast standards, there is no 720p24 to choose from.
The nearest option would be 720p60. The converter uses Teranex algorithm to convert the frame rate.

Switch 1 = ON to enable processing

Switch 4 = ON
Switch 6 = ON

Any other switch = OFF

If you wanna try if 720p50 gives you a smoother conversion:

Switch 1 = ON to enable processing

Switch 5 = ON

Any other switch = OFF

Thanks.

Another question. I am trying to power the device with the smallest possible battery power source. I tried a USB battery with a USB to 9V adapter cord and the light comes on the unit? Do you think that is enough juice? If not, can you recommend a small rechargeable power source?

According to the manual the power input can use 6V to 36V, so your 9V should work.
