Have you used the URSA Mini Pro with an Atomos Shogun?

PostSat Aug 19, 2017 5:19 am

I've tried every variation of input/output settings, no LUTs, 1080, etc - made sure I've got a proper SDI cable, and every other troubleshooting thing I can find online for getting a shogun to work simply as a monitor for a BM camera.

I know there are some issues between the two companies but I've found YouTube vids of people using the shogun with the Mini - is there any reason the Pro would be any different in this regard?

Has anyone here successfully used a Shogun with a Mini Pro in ANY capacity?

Cheers!

Absolutely. Many times. Make sure your shogun is set to the correct frame rate, swap the cable again, check your ports.

Works flawlessly for me, even start/stop.

Given the issues between the companies, you may not get filename transfer like with a Red ;-)
But SDI or TC is just a standard both have to respect.
