ooooh, anamorphic...dang, I was just thinking about that today as I checked when my MOMENT Anamorphic lens for the iPhone might come in...I love that format and caught myself wishing for an affordable (to me) solution for the PCC4K...can't wait to hear more about your foray into that arena, Rick!

Justin, here is one link to send you on the right track:

BMPCC4K 12v in via Dummy battery

I hadn’t seen that product review video. My video will not be a talking head. I mean I look sicker than that guy so you don’t want to have to watch me. You’ll see the products used while I’m making an actual music video as well as excerpts from the music video. Coming soon to a forum near you!

The music video is a not-for-profit PSA. I don’t charge for or monetize my work.

Ooh.. so looking at the Moza Air X.. it looks like it has 2 motors like that.. it says dual focus/zoom motors. Who knows what will ship.. as else where the Weebill LAB was discovered to not come with any focus/zoom motors, though I dont know if it was said it would.

Which at $600... vs the $900 LAB3... if you have to buy motors for focus and zoom but the LAB3 comes with them, handles more weight, etc.. seems like the LAB3 may be the better purchase.

So, is it your guys feeling that these motors are now starting to replace the old focus pulling? It allows you to easily adjust focus, zoom, even iris (if you want to get crazy with all 3) as a solo video dude, without having to move your hands off too far.

Question.. is there any sort of agreed upon protocol that would allow a camera developer with wifi, to control these devices? Or is everything proprietary? It would be great for the camera itself in its OS to be able to offer itself up as a "wifi hotspot", and then your phone, motors, gimbal motors, etc could all "connect" and then you could control everything via the camera monitor if it is big/touch screen or your phone/tablet via app. In this way you could start to see amazing automations you could string together. In fact, IoT seems like the perfect fit for this. :D

Ray (that's what it is) wrote:That's what I find so odd, gimbal manufacturers are selling their devices to videographers and power is probably the most important aspect of any such camera user. They could easily develop a power bank that attached in lieu of the tripod and became an extra hand hold as well.

I just made this cable for powering the pocket 4k on my Ronin-S. I cut off the AC cable that came with the camera and spliced it with some old connectors that I had laying around + this cable connector from DJI (with the 7.2v stepdown removed): https://store.dji.com/product/ronin-s-dc-power-cable

Now if only DJI would start selling spare batteries for the Ronin-S and I'd be good to keep on shooting all day.

Nice job! That is what I would do if I could not find the cable!

One thing that looks really interesting to me about the LAB 3 is that it has removable 18650 batteries. Or does it.. couldnt really clarify that.

Received my BMD cable pack today, so no need to cut the power supply cable for the connector.
Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime.

Sirs, can I hijack this thread, as I have a similiar question - just got an Canon LP-E6-dummy battery (hope it is not a counterfeit!) and like to feed my Anker Astro Pro2 /https://www.anker.com/ca/products/variant/astro-pro-20000mah-portable-charger/79AN7906-BA) into it but have no cable-adapter, which needs to be female on both ends to connect the respective cables.
How has anyone solved this?

adaptare 93530 Niedervolt Ladekabel (USB-A Stecker auf DC-Hohlstecker), 5,5x2,1mm, 60cm, schwarz https://www.amazon.de/dp/B01M09AEHM/ref ... 8BbPCDCHCC

Titelbeschreibung stimmt zwar nicht, aber es ist ein 25cm Kabel mit 2,5mm Hohlstecker auf Hohlstecker.
