Audio Formats?

What format is created when shooting with DNG?
I can understand DNxHD and ProRes but sequential files from DNG I dont.
My past experience was the Perception Card into Premiere.
Sequential Targas with an AVI attached for audio.

Found the answer on Afterglow post.
JB confirms that a .wav file is created for audio during recording.

Yes, a separate wav file is creative. It's broadcast wave to be specific.

Also the broadcast wave carries all the metadata for the clip.
