BMPCC 4K Travel Video | 75p and 120p 2.4:1

PostTue Nov 12, 2019 1:44 am

Hey everyone!

I just recently visited Colorado and brought my BMPCC 4K with me (obviously). Any who, here's a quick edit from the trip. I really wanted to see how well the 2.6K 120p cuts with the 4K 2.4:1 windowed 75p footage. I must say, the 2.6K is gorgeous. Well done [once again] Blackmagic! Just the Ronin-S, Canon 24-105, Tokina 11-16 and Tiffen Variable ND filter.

Gladly welcome and appreciate any feedback! Thanks for watching :)

Nice stuff, Tyler. What was your resolution for your deliverable? How did you get there from your capture resolutions?

Thanks Rick! I set the timeline settings to 4096x1716 DCI Scope 2.39 as it was closest to what the windowed sensor in the 4K Pocket (one of the default selections in Resolve) and then I just scaled the clips to fill the resolution. I exported using the same settings and YouTube accepts that aspect ratio.
