Lens adapter

PostTue Dec 10, 2019 7:22 pm

Hi there,
Complete newbie to all of this, I searched the forum for anything related but I'm guessing it's too silly a question to ask, but here it goes:

I'm planning to buy a BM pocket camera 4k and been looking for some vintage lens options. Will I need a lens mount adapter to use a Super Takumar lens with it?

The simple answer is Yes. You might need a M42 (lens side) to micro 4/3 (camera side) adapter.
You might want to this or something similar to this - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fotga-Adapter- ... SwhZhd2zbA

Because this are passive adapters, there are no electronics to controls from the camera.

Well, Super Takumars have no electronics anyway ;-)

Actually, there are adapters for nearly anything that ever projected an image onto a silver-halide emulsion if you have an MFT mount.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

I use Fotodiox adapters for my Pentax lenses, both m42 and K mount. Never had any issues.
