Defy Gimbal stabilizer for BMCC - G5

Relentless just announced their Defy Gimbal G5 model. The previously announced G2 model is for the BMPCC and other small camera/lens combos under 2 lbs. The G5 is for camera/lens combos under 5 lbs. Price for G5 is $3,200.

My BMCC MFT with SLR Magic 12mm Hyperprime or with Nikon adapter and Nikkor 24mm AI-s lens will be light enough to put on the G5. I plan to mount a monitor and battery onto the handle frame, not adding to the weight limit.

Gimbal-based options are starting to take off, and these guys at Relentless are impressing me with their approach and with what they are creating. Before these devices hit the market, I was set on picking up and learning how to move a Blackbird stabilizer. I don't have the ambition to become proficient at that craft. It seems like the G5 will let me cheat.

Anyone up for starting an office pool on the number of brushless gimbal stabilizers we'll see at NAB 2014? A couple more solutions in development (though some are for BMPCC):

The G5 looks like the best option when you balance cost against features and legitimacy. It's obviously going to be a huge market so it's pretty exciting to see how it will come along in the next year.
