Is BMPCC HDMI intelaced or progressive

PostWed Aug 14, 2013 11:51 am

The camera was originally announced with an interlaced output, Alan Tepper says it's progressive.
The specification don't mention it.

Can anybody who has a camera confirm, please?

Its Progressive in a interlaced wrapper, since HDMI is a consumer connector that must play nice with TVs.

If it works like the SDI on the BMCC, you'll need to turn overlays off to make it PsF.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
