Update on 4k SSD Tests?

PostThu Aug 22, 2013 8:02 am

Hey all,

Could anyone who has received their BMPC 4K let me know what SSD(s) they are using and if they are shooting alright with CinemaDNG RAW without dropped frames? I'm getting one soon and need to know what makes/models will work as BMD hasn't updated their list of recommended SSD's since July...also the list only encompasses "SSDs recommened for 2.5K CinemaDNG RAW and ProRes Ultra HD 4K video recording", nothing about SSDs rated for 4k RAW capture. In fact, there doesn't seem to be any support for this anywhere as of yet, so any input will be GREAT!

Thanks y'all!
