Help for anamorphic adapter

PostSat Sep 07, 2013 2:43 pm

Hi everyone,

I try to find a panasonic LA7200 for my BMCC, and during my research i have found that century optics have an anamorphic adapter, but i can't find any video with the BMCC. I'm new in anamorphic world so i need your help to tell me if this adapter can work with the BMCC :)

Thank you

The two common century adapters are:

1609-58 and 1609-37

They respectively screw onto the front of lenses with a 58mm or 37mm front filter thread.
Or other sizes with adapter rings.

The LA7200 being larger will allow you to use wiser lenses before vignetting occurs.
Search for reviews where it is used on a GH2, then remember that the GH2 has a FF crop of 2 vs the 2.3 of the BMCC
