Power for Pocket

pair that with some of the very affordable Sealed Lead Acid batteries/block batteries out there from the film days and you should be good for power for a long time.

I'm not 100% on if it works with the Pocket. I have e mailed them and they expect an answer from their engineering team in the morning.

Also, obviously, I have the shipping confirmation for my Pocket camera (divested myself from the GH2) and I will update, if you'd all like, any thing I come across while outfitting it for a "Dslr A Camera" replacement --- e.g. getting it up to the point where I can use it for a ULB/LB shoot without a second though.

And sadly according to them it won't work directly with the BMPC. However, I think I'll pick it up anyway and just cut off the end to connect the appropriate jack.

LOL, everybody and his kid brother was asking for exchangeable internal batteries, now they have it, they look for external solutions.

What's wrong with those Nikon batteries, they are dirt cheap.

Nothing really. I just happen to have a bunch of block batteries laying around from the other cameras. So it's nice to have a solution where I can leave the camera on for a long period while setting things up. I can of course swap over (and will) to internals when I need mobility. I don't see 1) how that makes no sense, or 2) why it would be a point of mockery at myself or anyone else who wants to ability to throw on a block battery for when they're sitting on a tripod, or a dolly, jib, or interfacing it with a steadycam ect ect.

That says it's the 2.5mm jack, which is good for the BMCC, but not the pocket. I believe the pocket is 0.7mm (outer dimension is around 2.5 tho).

Aye that's what the manufacturer let me know as well. I'll still get it just for the ease of having a 4-Pin already wired-- and might look into a 2.5 adapter to shrink it down. I am assuming the BMCC and BMPCC are wired the same for + and - but i'll double check when it comes in, plus then I'd have an adapter whenever i happen to have a cinema or 4K around as well.
