IRIS button on BMCC MFT useless?

Does the BMCC MFT version really have no use for the button?

It turns on zebra overlays. But otherwise, yes, useless for any actual iris uses.

Zebras turn on/off in the menu only, and the Iris button IS useless.

Yep, does nothing on mine. No zebra on/off function. Hopefully it'll do something in the future.

I'm not disagreeing with anyone here, but I just now double checked it on my MFT (which I got just 3 weeks ago), and the Iris button is turning the zebras on and off.
Do you have zebras turned on in the menu before pressing it? Running the latest firmware?
I really have no idea why it would work on one and not others, only guesses.

That is weird.
I received our MFT 1 week ago. Firmware is the latest according to the camera utility software, and the zebras are enabled and visible at 100%. The iris button does not turn it off.
I'm in the UK, in case that makes a difference.
